Feast of the Seven Fishes

Feast of the Seven Fishes is a Christmas Eve tradition. Bravo does not publish a seven-fish menu. These are the seafood items the kitchen does list.

Seafood in a red sauce with shrimp, mussels, and calamari

What is on the menu, and what is not

Feast of the Seven Fishes is the Italian-American Christmas Eve meal built around seafood. Bravo Pizza & Sports Bar does not print a holiday fish menu, a seven-course card, or a special platter under that name. If you want fish from this kitchen in December, order the seafood the menu already sells, at order.bravopizzasi.com.

The list is short and specific. Baked Clams Oreganata is an appetizer. Fried Calamari is an appetizer and a catering tray. Zuppa Di Mussels is an appetizer in white or red. Linguine in White Clam Sauce is a pasta. Frutti Di Mare is a pasta with mussels, clams, shrimp, and calamari in a plum tomato and wine sauce. Shrimp Parmigiana is a hero and an entree. That is the seafood on the current menu. It is not seven named fish, and it is not a set.

How people actually order it

A table that wants the idea, not a tasting menu, usually splits the list. One Frutti Di Mare for the center, baked clams or mussels to start, calamari if someone wants it fried. Linguine in White Clam Sauce is the plate for a person who wants clams and pasta without the mixed seafood. None of these items is marked as a Christmas-only special.

The photo is Frutti Di Mare: seafood in a red sauce with shrimp, mussels, and calamari. It matches the menu line. It is not a staged seven-fish display. The shop is at 413 New Dorp Lane. The phone is (718) 317-1010. The family has made pizza since 1985. This location opened in 2020.

Timing, trays, and the rest of the table

Fried Calamari is the seafood item with a half tray and a full tray on the catering page. The other fish plates are single orders. Call the shop before you assume a tray of mussels or clams. Pies, baked ziti, and heroes can sit on the same table for guests who do not want fish. Hours are 11 AM to 1 AM daily. The full menu runs until 11 PM. These seafood plates are not on the Extended Hours list.

Pickup is at 413 New Dorp Lane. Delivery areas confirmed so far are New Dorp and Great Kills. Checkout confirms any other address. Order the fish close to when you will eat it. A mussel soup is a worse leftover plan than a pie.
