Pieces, not pounds

How Many Wings in a Pound?

How many wings in a pound is a grocery question. Bravo's wing menu is a piece count.

The menu skips the pound

Bone-in wings vary in size, so a pound is not a stable number of pieces. Bravo does not use that unit. Traditional wings are sold as 5 or 20. Boneless wings are sold as 7 or 20. If a recipe or a guest list is written in pounds, translate it yourself. The cart will only accept those counts.

The photo is a tray of boneless wings. Boneless and traditional are different items. A boneless piece is not a wing with the bone removed in a way this page can measure. Order the name that matches what you want.

The style is required

A wing order is not finished until you pick a Wing Style: Buffalo, BBQ, Honey BBQ, Teriyaki, Mango Habanero, Sweet Asian Chili, or Lemon Pepper. That choice is on the item. It is not a separate pound price.

The shop is at 413 New Dorp Lane, open 11 AM to 1 AM daily. The family has made pizza since 1985. This location opened in 2020.

If the list was written in pounds

Call (718) 317-1010 and tell the counter how you were counting. They can turn that into 5s and 20s. This page will not publish a conversion, because the menu does not have one.

A pie next to the wings changes how many pieces you need. The per-person post explains that the shop still will not do that math for you.

Questions

How many wings are in a pound at Bravo?

Bravo does not sell wings by the pound. Traditional orders are 5 or 20 pieces. Boneless orders are 7 or 20 pieces.

Why not publish a conversion?

Wing size varies, and the menu does not state a pieces-per-pound number. Ordering by the printed counts is the accurate way.

Can I still get a large order?

Yes. The large traditional and the large boneless are each 20 pieces. Order more than one if you need more.
