What the style is asking for

A New York slice is a round pie cut into triangles, with a rim you can fold. The photo is a folded pepperoni slice. Pepperoni is a topping. The plain round item on Bravo's menu is Regular: Regular Large, Regular Medium, and Regular Slice. The menu does not print a dough formula or an oven temperature, and this post does not invent one.

The family has made pizza since 1985. The New Dorp Lane dining room opened in 2020. That is the local version of the style: a round pie from a Staten Island shop, not a history lecture.

Round is not the only pie in the case

Sicilian and Grandma are the squares. White, Vodka, and Fresh Mozzarella are other round pies. A 10-inch bar pie is a smaller round. If the search was specifically for the classic foldable slice, start with Regular. If you want a square, leave this post and open the Sicilian guide.

Toppings on the Regular pie include pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, peppers, onions, and the rest of the list on the order page. Half toppings are offered. The slice menu also has its own specialty slices, which are not the same as a topped Regular Slice.

413 New Dorp Lane, Staten Island, NY 10306. Eat it in the room, with 35 TVs if the slice is an excuse to stay, or take the pie home. Hours are 11 AM to 1 AM daily. The full menu runs until 11 PM. The Extended Hours menu includes the Regular pie.
