The squares Bravo actually sells

Sicilian and Grandma are the square pies. Each has a slice. Marinara Sicilian and Gluten Free Sicilian Pie are further Sicilian names. A round pie, including the 10-inch bar pies, is not square. Detroit-style pizza is a different pan pizza, and Bravo does not list a Detroit pie. Do not order a square here and expect that name.

The photo shows a square pie with sauce over the cheese. The gallery calls that finish upside-down Sicilian. The menu does not label Marinara Sicilian as that photo, so treat the picture as one way a square can look, and read the button you tap.

Why the names get mixed

Both pies are cut in squares, so a takeout box can look the same from the outside. The usual split is thickness: Sicilian is the thick square, grandma is the thinner square. Bravo's own style post walks through that. This post is the boundary: which square styles are on this menu, and which famous square styles are not.

Bar pizza is the other name people fold into 'square.' Bravo's bar pies are listed as 10-inch pies. They are their own category. If you want a square, leave that category and open the Sicilian or the Grandma.

The address is 413 New Dorp Lane. Family pizza since 1985. This location opened in 2020. A square for the table is the pie. A square for one person at the counter is the slice. Open 11 AM to 1 AM daily, full menu until 11 PM.
