The appetizer

Zuppa di mussels on the Bravo menu is Zuppa Di Mussels, and the line under the name says white or red. That is the choice. The photo shows mussels in a red tomato sauce, with basil and a piece of garlic bread. It is the red version. The white version is the other sauce on the same item, not a second photo on this page.

It is an appetizer, not a pasta and not a catering tray. Frutti Di Mare is the pasta that includes mussels along with clams, shrimp, and calamari. Linguine in White Clam Sauce is the clam pasta. A starter, not a holiday set

There is no Feast of the Seven Fishes menu here. If a December table wants mussels, this appetizer is the bowl. The feast post lists the other seafood that actually exists. Do not add a course count this kitchen did not print.

Hours and the ride

Hours are 11 AM to 1 AM daily. The full menu runs until 11 PM. Zuppa Di Mussels is not on the Extended Hours list. After 11, do not count on this bowl. A pie is the late order that list does include.

Pickup is at 413 New Dorp Lane. Delivery areas confirmed so far are New Dorp and Great Kills. Checkout confirms any other address. A short trip is kinder to shellfish in sauce than a long one. Say an allergy when you order. The kitchen uses wheat, milk, and other common allergens.
