The name on the order site

Searches for chicago style pizza often expect a deep-dish pie from a Chicago pan. Bravo's menu does not print that recipe. It lists a pie named Chicago Style and a slice named Chicago Style Slice. The photo on this page is that pie: a round pie on a metal tray, with a tall browned rim, melted cheese, and tomato sauce, cut into slices. It is not the square Sicilian and it is not the Grandma.

The shop is at 413 New Dorp Lane, Staten Island, NY 10306. Order the pie at order.bravopizzasi.com. The family has made pizza since 1985, and this dining room opened in 2020. Because the item page does not describe the dough, this post does not invent a crust essay or call the pie deep dish.

Pie, slice, and the other shapes

Chicago Style is one whole pie. Chicago Style Slice is the counter piece. Regular, White, Vodka, and Fresh Mozzarella are separate round pies, each with a medium and a large. Sicilian, Marinara Sicilian, and Grandma are the square pies. Stuffed pizzas are another category: Meat Pie and Veggie Pie. If you want the item with Chicago in the name, use that button, not the stuffed pie.

The Chicago Style pie is on the Extended Hours list. Hours are 11 AM to 1 AM daily. The full menu runs until 11 PM, and the Extended Hours menu covers later orders. The Chicago Style Slice is listed with the other slices. This page does not claim the slice stays on the late menu, because the slice is not marked as an extended-hours item.

A thicker square, if that is what you wanted from the word Chicago, might be the Sicilian instead. Read the Sicilian page and look at that photo before you swap the name. The honest order is the name you meant.
